Unboxing: My Very First Cross Stitch Conversion - Jaded Gem Shop

Hey there everyone and thanks for checking out this video!
Today we are taking a peek at my first cross stitch conversion project...from none other than Jaded Gem Shop!
I'm so excited to get this project going as the canvas and drills look phenomenal.
This might not be an image that everyone enjoys or even wants to look at (haha), but I find it to be very interesting and unique...especially in the diamond painting world.
I hope you'll come on this journey with me regardless, I think this might end up being a series that focuses not only on the conversion process...but Peter Paul Reubens as well.

It's not nearly as bad as it may sound, I have been working on the kit for a little over a week now and it's only slightly more intense than a regular kit. I'll keep you posted though! :)

I actually just got my first cross stitch conversion kitted up finally today! I also got my supplies from jaded gem shop! It took a bit of time to get some missing colors and to figure out the substitutions but Jade was great on helping me get it all figured out! It’s def a learning curve for me! Good call on getting that tablet. I had to do the all the back steps on mine to get the pattern keeper app and it was a pain! However I’m finally ready to take on my Belle princess panel! I will be working the Beast panel from DAC along side it! These will be pieces for my daughters room! I love that you picked a piece that you love so much even if it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea!! This hobby is about making you happy and relaxed! Can’t wait to see your progress!

That is literally epic! That is my kind of art! I have a few patterns I have purchased but I have yet to bite the bullet and get a kit made up . Oh and time. One day! I am definitely going to start small.

Who cares what people think. If you like it and are excited about it then that is the only thing that matters and everyone else that looks down on you for being excited about it can kick rocks. Im happy to see you excited about most things your working on. I think it will be beautiful after its finished and this is not my cup of tea but that the good thing about art there is something for everyone.

I did counted cross stitch for YEARS. I'm not sure I want to try it because I like the non-thinking aspect of DP (lol), but it sure is intriguing. Medusa may not be my cup of tea, but I REALLY like the unusual kits you pick and not just all the popular, "wide-eyed girls & roses" stuff.

I love perspective!!! I often put it on (on repeat because I have seen them all) while i am diamond painting. I absolutely cannot wait to see this going forward..how much was the total cost if you dont mind me asking? Perhaps a good video on how you went about getting all the supplies? 💗

Thank you for watching Jennifer and yes, I should put together a video explaining the pricing. It varies depending on the size, number of colors, etc...but this was in the $150 USD range I believe. That's including the pattern but not the tablet.

Hi Anthony, Apollo and Bowie x Wow I'm so glad you can't wait lol I can't wait to watch you do it. OK the picture isn't one I'd choose but I still can't wait to see it evolve. You sound like a child at Christmas who just got that have to have gift and you have made me smile. I think you cheated getting jade to do all the working out ect 😉 and I was going yo try and use my left over drills but I don't have that many yet. How did you work out the pattern was compatible with converting? I feel very intrigued but scared even of doing some working out wrong.
