When people say their cubes are “dead,” what they should really do is disassemble the cube completely and clean all of the pieces with towels and qtips and then reassemble the cube and add DNM. It will definitely not be dead after that. For most people it’s easier than buying a new cube and spending thousands of solves getting it back to being usable. When cubes become “dead” the plastic hasn’t worn out as much as it might seem. What really happened is that a bunch of dirt built up and the lube in the springs dried up. It’s important to keep your cubes clean. I also believe it’s very possible to start with stock, non-magnetic cubes and magnetize/set them up to be just as good if not better than the top-of-the-line Angstrom cubes.

Couldn't agree more, I think though that for a good amount of people, they aren't so inclined to take it apart and clean it, especially a 5x5, those that say their 3x3's are dead are just lazy lol.

Whenever you carry your cube around or put it in a bag the cube gets some gunk/fuzz in it, and it builds up over time

give the wushuang m 25 solves or so, add a little dnm, and it becomes a lot smoother, faster and better overall. for reference, i got my first sub50 ao5 the second day i had the cube.

Notice how much I don’t like the pale shades when I got the mini 8x8, assuming there the same in the gts 3x3s also. Are the shades in the Valk Power similar to the Yuxin shades ? I’m curious since Kian Mansour uses the cosmic as his main. Got to see him in action at the bitw 2018 comp this past weekend.

My main atm is an Angstrom Valk 3 M, but I don't like it that much. I don't like the feel of the magnets and I overshoot a LOT. I kinda prefer my older Supernova MF3RS2 M. With a broken magnet. If I bought a new cube, which of these would you recommend for me? MF3RS2 M (Cubicle Labs or Cosmic?) GAN 354 M GAN 356 AIR SM (Angstrom or Cosmic?) GTS3M (Angstrom or Cosmic) Price doesn't matter. I made big order from this site a few months back and with that order I bought a Very Puzzle Tuttminx. They sent me a Hato. when I contacted them they were very rude and said that I should send it back (at my own expense) and they would "continue communication".
