UNBOXING NEW OVAEASY 380 ADVANCE EX INCUBATOR

Hello and welcome before we start i would like to thank Fiona from brinsea for all her help with all the information on the incubators, I brought a brand new OvaEasy 380 Advance EX Series II Incubator, within 5 minutes it was all setup and 2 hours later the first batch of eggs went in.

Hobby hatchery in your ecperience would you say it was easy to use?

@@20126193 yep it certainly is, the button combination are very easy to remember aswell, I let mine run for about 2 hours and then put the eggs in the same day it arrived, i found it is better to run it for an hour or two before adding the eggs to make sure it had the right temperature and humidity, my hatch rate is 99% to 100% with every hatch I have used this incubator for

Is the humidity pump that loud or does camera pick upp and make it sound louder in video?

How is multi-stage incubation handled, where you add 1 tray per week. Curious about having higher humidity for the hatching tray at the bottom, while the upper trays require lower humidity.

how do you manage different humidity requirements of incubation (first 18 days) and hatching (last 3 days) in the same chamber ? where eggs in the upper trays are in the incubation stage, and eggs in the basket at the bottom are ready to be hatched and require higher humidity?

How do you find the humidity control? Is it consistent? And how is the water contained in the incubator? Is there a tray at the bottom? Finally; what accessories come for hatching? I've seen pictures of the trays having a roof (looks like a flipped tray), so the chicks don't climb out, were they included, and if not; are they necessary?

+Mikaela Rintala Hi sorry for the late replay to find the controls for the humidity you hold + and - that will unlock the incubator, As long as you have water in the humidity pump it will stay consistent to what you have set, There is a water tray at the top of the incubator with a evaporating block if you have the humidity pump you push the tube through hole on the front of the incubator and then through the middle of the block, No their is no try at the bottom when you have eggs that are ready to hatch you use four pegs and an egg tray to go on top then you slide the tray at the bottom of the incubator, If you buy this incubator it comes with 10 universal egg trays and dividers, four pegs, a evaporating block, water tray, tubes for the humidity pump, humidity pump, the roof for the eggs tray is another eggs tray what you do is when they are ready too be moved you put your four pegs in the holes then you flip an empty tray on top of the eggs that will stop them for climbing out and escaping the incubator is quite long so it helps to have the roof on over wise you will have to get on your hands and knees to reach in and take them out so you will have to turn off the incubator to do so, the universal egg trays are hatching trays too once the eggs are ready remove the dividers and in each for corners you put a peg in then you get a spare egg tray that you flip and you lay the egg tray on the four pegs. i hope this helps if you need any more help please message me straight back, i have just over 400 birds and this incubator comes in very handy i also have several over incubators that i use, i have loads of tips on incubating and hatching because i've been breeding/ rearing Poultry and waterfowl for so many years.Thank you for your questions.

Hi to answer your question the vents can not be closed all the way, they slide from left to right, the fans do a great job of keeping the air circulating around the whole incubator. Thank you for your questions.

Hello Franklin Co their are 4 fans at the top, that blow the air at an even amount through the whole incubator

+Noah W hi they are very good i have the OvaEasy 380 Advance EX Series II Incubator at the moment i have all the hatching trays full of eggs that are hatching, the incubator took less than 5 minutes to set up and within a couple hours i set two trays of eggs, it depends on how many eggs you have available ??
