Good haul and choices. I had two rods stolen from my boat last year….both Jordan Lee Abu rods….the 6’10’ top water and a winch rod….paired with Shimano slx dc…so people up here loved em apparently as much as I did. One day I’ll replace em--spent too much on the boat already and need to make sure the missus doesn’t kill me hahahah. Best of luck and great video Jordan!

I think daiwa and shimano dominate the reel market and I strictly use megabass rods but man you're living the dream, making a living doing what you love. Hell, if ugly stick and 13 gave me free rods and reels every year, you bet your ass I'd tell everyone they were the best ever made.

I bought a Jordan Lee Signature rod for top water. Its pretty nice. I found the Jordan Lee combo rod but no reel. Paired it with my older Abu Garica Orra winch 5:4 ratio. I use it for cranks and swimbaits. I caught a lot of fish on that setup! The Veritas line is still my favorite.

Really enjoyed your video. First time watching. I have been your fan since you won the Bass Classic 2 years in a row. I thought wow, He is so young and talented. Well, anyway, you make a living doing this so you have to have the right equipment. Stay on top of your game plan. I wish you the best. After I saw you, Hank Parker, Mark Daniels Jr. and Skeet Reese and some others run Ranger boats I told my wife of 54 years. We drove to St Cloud, Fl. 90 miles from my home. We walked into the Ranger dealership and saw this beautiful Ranger on the showroom floor. My wife just stared at me gazing at this rig. I looked at her as she looked at me. She said "is this it"? I said it is going to be expensive. She saw the way I looked at that rig. She said, "I want you to be happy with a bass rig". She doesn't know much about bass boats but she is smart. I said it is a dream rig. Good, the salesman walked over not knowing us and asked if he could help. My wife said to get this Ranger ready for my husband. They walked off and she wrote him a check for the boat. I went out of my mind. I acted like a 10 year old boy getting his first bicycle. It now sits in my garage and I am always shinning it all the time. I once took the cowling into my family room to wax it while I watched TV. Am I crazy or what. My wife sits beside me and just smiles. She is an angel. Been together since High School. End of story.

Haters are not paying your bills. Run the gear that best works for you. If it’s a 100$ rod or a $500 rod. It’s putting food on the table. Same reason service technicians buy snap on. Yeah harbor freight will do the job. But snap on can do it mostly better and faster than most harbor freight

It’s a JDM model but the Zenon Beast is the most slept on “big bait” reel on the market! It’s the lightest big bait reel on the market. Get ya one!

@@jordanlee1180100% especially on bigger glides (tall shad profiles) it takes more to get them going so you want that fast gear ratio unless you wanna wind like crazy. And if your fishing the popular chop style baits you wanna work em fast and be able to pick up a lot of like you can get it done on a 6:8:1 but 7:31-8:1:1 is the sweet spot imo

The only problem I have with the zenon rod is the hook keeper is absolute junk. The reels are amazing though. The fantastista rods are my favorite.

Im surprised you didn’t tell Abu Garcia to kicks rocks and went with another company. Abu Garcia did a terrible job marketing your rod line up and reels. You are a big name in the sport, if someone told me I wasn’t. I would have left. But maybe you are still under contract but I think they should have gave you a J.Lee 2.0 line after the year you had.

You would be a better fisherman than you are if you had some high end rods and reels like G loomis, megabass or even Shimano. Change the reels to Shimano. I know they sponsor you but those are not even close to high end. Just wish you could feel the difference. Just might win you more tournaments in the future. A night and day difference. Anyway tight lines my friend.
