Hi I will be receiving a Violet's pride next week from the same place as you recommended. Can I ask if you will be planting yours in the ground or pot it until it gets bigger first? I'm not sure what to do? Thank you

I’m keeping mine in a pot to give it time to grow. I’ll put in a bigger pot for now. I have a greenhouse where I can keep it sheltered during winter. Next year I will plant it in the ground. I did this to my other Violets Pride and it did just fine.

I don't have a greenhouse, so What temperature should I wait for it to drop to until I should bring it into the garage ? 32 degree's? I'm in Alabama. Also, what size pot? Would a plastic 2 gallon pot work or do I need something bigger? Thank you.
