Congratulations! I bought this bag too. I always had my idea of the perfect Gucci bag in mind and this was it. I also have the Speedy 25 and this Gucci is a bit smaller than the LV. It’s shorter and more structured. I’m going to add some holes to the strap or buy an extender. Great bag!!

I just purchased the same bag, same color and size. So excited! It’s a classic look and I agree that I love the coated canvas better than the style several years ago. Enjoy the bag!!! (Ps- I might need to take it to the cobbler and have an extra hole or two added to the strap as well 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️)

Maybe there’s a strap extender you can buy? Should be easy with it being a belt strap.🤷🏾‍♀️ It is a beautiful bag. Ophidia is my favorite style.

Love the Ophidia bag. Maybe see if Amazon has some extenders. I am tall, so that strap would be a small issue, but I normally carry my bags top handle or shoulder.

Gucci only makes bags for skinny people. I am a size 14 ( XL and 1X) and have ordered four different bags from them and returned three of them because the strap was too short for me too. The one I kept, the blonde, can be used like a clutch and shoulder strap so I kept it. I refuse to pay several thousand dollars for a purse that I can’t wear cross body. It sucks but they are not the only ones catering to skinny people, Almost all luxury that I have ordered are to short for cross body on me. Sucks.
