One of the best games in the entire vaunted States-of-Siege series. I’m glad to see that some of these SoS titles are getting the deluxe treatment and are remaining in print.

It is a 3rd edition..the 1st edition was a VPG folio game, with a paper map. The 2nd edition was a VPG flimsy boxed version with a puzzle style hard board map, and now there is this 3rd edition.

Beat me to it. Hapsburg went straight to puzzle map/box but came later.

I've really enjoyed some of the "State of Siege" games; they're terrific, fast-playing fun. (And tough to beat!) I've seen/read nothing but highly positive reviews of OTTOMAN SUNSET, which looks excellent. Hopefully there will be a 4th edition someday, which will correct the glaring typo printed on the mapboard... The Arab Track's box #6 is labeled as "KARS", which is also the (correct) name of Caucasus Track's highest-numbered box. (The correct name of the mislabeled Arab #6 box should be "JIDDAH".)

They issued a set of stickers to fix the mistakes, but yeah.. not my favourite thing.
