Great video! The assembled figures at the end look amazing so far! Can't wait to see some paint on them!

Thanks Jim. I really like building Perry kits and I've got the French on pre-order so hopefully I can get them both painted up and on the table by the end of the year.

Come to think about it: The sword on the Advancing sprue should make for an easy NCO

Are these done in hard polystyrene like Tamiya uses for their models or they made from the sort of plastic used in toy soldiers? They look very nicely detailed. Good video and thanks for mentioning Sharp Practice. I've never heard of it before. Would it be a good rules set for the Boxer Rebellion? Also, regarding your difficulties with lighting - Try using a more powerful light at more of a distance. Another trick photographers use is reflectors. You could get yourself a piece of posterboard or foam-core, support it with something like a 'third-hand' clip and bounce the light off of it. That should diffuse the light enough to negate the hard glare you were dealing with.

Thanks mate. These are hard plastic, similar to the sort you get in model tank kits. Sharp Practice is a fantastic ruleset. There isn't a Boxer Rebellion but using the Sudan rules you could easily do the Boxers. I've made videos on both I'll link here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/noSqqaaOhLqXidU&ab_channel=AnotherHistorianWargamer kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKWQeHtnq9F8jac&ab_channel=AnotherHistorianWargamer I'll try the lighting tip in the next video, thanks a lot.
