This mount does not work for rearview mirrors that are thicker, i.e., have extra area to accommodate additional electronics such as for auto-dimming.

phoneholder ZJ099 This construction is very unstable. It does neither hold quite good on the mirror nor is the mobile stable. And think about the cable you might need near the mirror - you have to put it round the whole wnidscreen.

hmm you can try using a zip tie to hold the bracket closer to the mirror or try placing it on a different position of your mirror also the mirror could be older so its not holding it up right,

You can't see how to thread the second part because your hands are covering up the parts We only see your hands not the part as you put it on. What a shame cuz that's why I looked at your video to see how to put the second part on.
