Any updates after using this mast? I'm highly considering it. How do you feel it does as compared to the OEM carbon masts that taper down towards the fuselage.

Yes. Which OEM tapered Mast are you referring to?

@@GunnarBiniasch any of the new carbon ones. Signature, unifoil, takuma, Armstrong, axis. Wider at the top where it meets the board. Skinny at the bottom where it meets the fuse.

The mast to board plate mount looks very thin... Not much sleeve on it.

Yes. I thought the same. But the connection is super stiff and has no play. So far it has survived jumping with large wingboards without anything flexing or becoming loose

The "sleeve" is bonded inside the carbon mast, and nothing is needed outside. This connection is much stiffer and stronger than any of the tapered solid carbon masts out there, which typically fail at that location due to interlaminar tension stresses.
