Already preordered both CDs Editions. Prostitute is a perfect follow up of the already beautiful The Breathtaking Blue album. Every single song from Prostitute has a different style, I Love each one of them! My favorite track is Apollo, this song is so powerful simply amazing!!! Thanks to everyone involved in this remaster Edition. Love you Marian and all Alphaville band members. Alphaville music is timeless and beautiful.

Greetings to all Alphaville fans and members themselves, whom I would like to thank first for the fantastic world of music. I consider the album PROSTITUTE to be a top album in all respects - music, lyrics, cover design and handwritten lyrics. This was all so different from the previous albums and at the same time so modern, mature, sophisticated, honest musicianship of the 90s. From the first listen, you could feel that the members were not restricted by anything/anyone in their creative activity, and I am very grateful for that. Please don't deny the excellence of the original release. There are few perfect things in the world, but this album was perfect back in 1994 and is still absolutely perfect today. Thank you again I have a question for the owners of the vinyl version - on the CD the songs "The One Thing" and "Some People" follow each other seamlessly, how is this handled on the vinyl release, when are the songs separated from each other? Something different from the CD version or a simple cut? Thank you for answer.

I struggled with the german speech. I think Bernd made a reference to the Prostitute booklet, saying that the lyrics are now plain written, not handwritten, but no certainty since I don’t understand anything. On the other hand, the original booklet is unique, a masterpiece of art. Can’t wait to listen to the demos!

Excellent album! The CD was not available in the common shops in Recife/Brazil. I had to import it in a specialized shop from USA in the first semester 1995.

I still have my original CD and it plays Great! It's definetly a more experimental album, the TONE of the lyrics seemed to get darker and more ominous on some of the songs.....i also feel that marion's voice became more theatrical, which is not my preference. I love the song 'Oh patti' so much, that i wrote an extra verse to extend the song when i play it on piano: "patti cant take it..shes gotta throw it back...the world is so crazy...and shes trembling...and if you hug her...shes gotta hug you twice..she wont accept your charity..on her terms...and while shes counting..all that shes acquired...frowning at the gaudiness....her life is so full now...full of jewels and charms, and petting zoo's...where nothing's what it seems, thats what her papa told her once, and patti has a big big box, bigger than her bed...she just forgot the most amazing toys within....shes sitting in her tree house,,,where she does not dare to climb the rope, to take her to the stairs, that shes been wishing for, and so its back to earth!"
