Wonderfully demo. I like some of the extras on this machine. That automatic needle threading was interesting. I like the old fashioned way of threading a needle. Keeps the 👀 sharp. LOL! When I was a child my mom owned a white sewing machine and before she taught me how to sew it was my job to thread the bobbin. Yes, I was the official 'bobbin threader' and I loved it. 😊 Her machine was a front load bobbin machine too. Thanks for the close ups. Happy stitching.

Thank you. I was threading the needle from right to left and it wasn’t making stitches. Just tangling. Who knew such a simple thing would cause a problem.

OMG, so true. One time I miss threaded my machine and was having the same issue. Of course I thought it was the machines fault that my thread was tangling and nesting. Nope I just unknowingly missed a hole the thread needed to go through while threading.

Hi there! I got my PQ yesterday after years of deliberation on buying this particular machine with the mixed reviews. I liked how you demonstrated the bobbin case. I used the pre-wound bobbin so far. The side metal bobbin is what I’m dreading when I have to change. I noticed that with my Aurifil 50 weight, it was tangling on itself at the top of the thread guide bar, but would make great stitches in the end. My cheap polyester thread had no issues. I have yet to use my Gutermann thread. This machine is notorious for nesting threads!😮

I have that same issue with 50wt thread. He doesn’t mind polyester, but prefers the cotton when quilting.
