Changing my embroidery thread: SimThread to Madeira thread

I like the comparisons of the two thread brands. That polyneon thread guide was sensational. Good thing you purchased it. No matter the cost that book is essential to anyone who uses lots of color in their thread and material. The reference chart for the Sim thread looked helpful too. I would keep that rich pumpkin and dark gold Sim thread in my collection and use them. Can you actually use those tall spools on your machine or do you have to load up a smaller spool with the thread? The Polyneon thread will always have a pop to its color because it has a neon undertone. Do you every use cotton thread?

hows the simthread thread strength? does it break more compared to madeira?
