Loop is to hang the gloves from. I still haven't used a bait caster, still intimidated by them since I have heard how easy they bird nest. Will give them a try soon since I have mastered untangling the spinning reels I make a mess of..🤭

I think the gloves will fit you perfectly. Next time I fish, I'll bring them for you. Get that baitcaster. They're actually very easy to use once you get the hang of it.

With baitcasters, the "Secret" of casting backlash-free, is in the set-up of the reel... That, and having a Good Braid Line (8-Strand is the best I've ever tried, but I have tried 9-strand I did NOT like...!). Just have Tracy show ya how, and you'll be fishing with the "Big Dogs" in no time..! Lol

I’ve been wanting to try sinking braid. I see a few companies making that now. Would like to put that on my finesse, spinning reels to try out.

If you like that 8-strand braid, all is good and I hope it works out for you. (But if you Don't, give me a holler and I'll send you a spool of Great 8-strand braid of your choice - 20 to 50 pound, in either green or bright yellow).
