This set is epic. The negative comments about it need not apply. Got this set for $69 direct from Japan. It IS region free, so don't worry about that nonsense, each disc plays on my Sanyo basic Blu-Ray Player. I was scared that the discs wouldn't play, and almost didn't order this, but I am so glad I did. It is one of my most cherished sets. You will not find a set like this in the states, the set here was just a blu ray case with common Blu-Ray discs. Yes the menus are foreign, but basic common knowledge allows you to still understand what is play. All you have to do is turn off the subtitles and language to English using your remote. This set is solid and very well done.

The only negative aspect about the set for me is the flimsy material it's made of. Otherwise, the disc content is stellar. Japanese Blu-rays are coded to Region A so residents of USA and Canada can watch them just fine. If I remember correctly, the audio should default to English for all the movies, since that's the native language they were made in. You do have to turn the Japanese subtitles off, but that's not an issue.

@@TwoTailedCaperer Despite that, it is basically steel compared to what the US put out. A simple Blu Ray case with each disc, and that is all. Japan put thought into this release. I am proud to display it.

Turnajon Yep! There are three now: RE Degeneration, RE Damnation, and RE Vendetta. I recommend them if you prefer the games over the action movies with Milla Jovovich

Thanks for the video, you convinced me to stick with my individual steelbooks and not buy this edition. They really dropped the ball on this, using the cheap digipak style of just stacking all the moves then wrapping them in cardboard. The box looks cool but very fragile, I can see why there are still so many copies of this version available for purchase.

I never had any of the Blu-Rays before, so this was an easy way to get them all, including the 3D versions. Which Steelbooks do you have, and what special features are on the discs? This set has a ton of special features, and it also has the "extended edition" of Apocalypse

+NotJustin Bieber The movies all default to the English audio. Also, for all of the bonus material I've watched so far (up to disc 5), the features have English audio as well; you just have to turn off the JP subtitles so they don't get in the way.
