Brandon, need your help man my gameboy micro isn’t receiving a charge it’s slowly dying it has Pokemon Emerald loaded on to it and I still want to play on it. Volume loudness issue : Power on, press start on main menu, adjust audio volume to 30 and set! Hope that helps yall

You need your head checked on the TImes New Roman thing. It's clearly a sans serif font, probably a Helvetica-derived font. Possibly Helvetica Neue from a Mac. You can also sort out the 3D performance of PSX by playing with the settings a bit. I forget what to change, but I do recall that frameskip should be set to AUTO for the smoothest gameplay. Beyond that, glad you liked the unit! It really is a fantastic handheld and should have been on your 2019 list. (But then again, so should the RetroFlag GPi...)

In regards to the buttons, you could always swap them for the ones that came with your Pocket Go. Yes, they fit. Of course, if you do there's no "A/B/X/Y" anywhere, but you'd be able to get rid of the font you don't like. Personally, I don't mind them. They look like the buttons on an Xbox 360 controller, so I'm used to it.

Retro Game 300 is really cool. Shame doesn't have IPS Screen inside. Agree buttons can be better :D The China Handhelds getting better and better don't you think ? (I like your new name and logo by the way)

It's currently my preferred Chinese emulation handheld. Only downside is indeed the screen which sucks a little bit. Shame it does not have the same screen as the gpi case, for example. But others than that, I really like it. And battery life is very good.

Seriously, they get even better. I have the ps vita clone which is not so bad, I love the big screen and I have the pap kiii plus, which I find not that good. I love playing gamboy roms and this console has a sort of mirror effect on the right side of the screen while playing Super Mario World. The only thing I regret is that this newer consoles do not play all sort of roms. My old dingoo play a lot more.

It's funny that you dislike the buttons, I got the smoked black one and I love the feel and look of them. I dislike klicky buttons, the snap feeling gets to me after a while. Same thing with overly klicky keyboards.

For the volume problem, I have found a kind of fix. Just set the volume in the settings section to 30-40%. Then it seems like the volume ramp is not that steep, and can be a little bit more easily adjusted. But don't expect miracles.

Got an LDK Horizontal on it's way to me. Just in time for a few flights around Europe. I prefer the landscape layout as I just find it significantly more comfortable. Love the colour scheme of this one though. Much nicer than the translucent black I've ordered. Genuinely impressed with how much the cheap handhelds have improved over the years. I was still running a slightly modded DSi XL up until a couple of years ago and I think these are now on par with it.

I have one and really like it. I also have a GCW Zero which blows it out of the water but there is the RG-350 on the horizon which is supposedly GCW Zero 2: Electric Boogaloo, i.e. based upon the same hardware.

Personally, I think the buttons look fine, but they could offer buttons of different styles. Just open it up and swap the buttons. Beyond that, $50 is pushing it for my budget. It's not an impossible goal to reach though.

Like your videos for the most part, but you are being petty here and there, especially the buttons. The RG300 is an incredible device. Fun fact, the speaker/sound of this device is superior to the big brother RG350 in durability (I have both). Definitely get the IPS version. Systems supported are definitely retro, meaning the more modern systems you are looking to support, the less "retro" it is.......

The font doesn't bother me, but having the buttons labelled at all does, because the BAYX labels don't make much sense for playing Genesis or PS1 games...I'd rather have frame skippy PS1 support than none at all though personally, does this thing play N64 or PSP at all?

The volume potentiometer is maybe a linear one in the handheld, for volume up and down a logarithmical one is better, so maybe they put the wrong one ( the cheaper one inside)

Buttons font? I don't care. Volume knob hard to get to? Perfect! My Pocket Go always changes volume when I play because of its protruding volume wheel. I week battery life? I doubt it. PS1 bad emulation? Really annoying.

The Battery is a BP-5L fake one. Good luck on buying a replacement battery, since there are none... The contact pins are slightly off compared to the original Nokia one. I bought one and no BP-5L fits here. When this fake battery dies, so will your device... and none of you KZbinrs out there did check for this major issue.

Frame skipping will fix most PS games make it much smoother it does glitch out the fps counter but its much more smoother.

They have the same hardware internally. So get the one you like best. But if you want replacement batteries you need to go with the LDK.

In our opinion yes, because of its portability, but the RG300 is incredibly close, and better for those that want a slightly bigger screen.

It's really what you prefer if screen quality is most important go LDK if screen size is more important go RG300. RG300 has become my preferred and favorite due to comfort and screen size

My LDK Game Landscape edition runs PS1 games just as good as that does if not better. I manually updated the firmware on it though. Also does anyone know how to change the L2 and R2 mapping so my screen brightness doesn't change?

The shoulder buttons are nice, but overall i'd still take an LDK. For me the size is just too big and agree the button design is hideous, even the grey surrounding unnecessary, should have just been block coloured non see through buttons. Tbh i'm done with these JZ4760 handhelds. Waiting till something more powerful arrives, for all their improvements i'm still baffled that a $40 phone can emulate N64 perfectly yet we still have no cheap console that can.

Yes, the paint is only on the bottom. Also, dont sand it off, use rubbing alch. The buttons are clear, so scuffing them isnt good.

Sorry buddy but I disagree with your review. It’s unfortunate you received a faulty unit plus out of the three rg300, you had to pick the worst design lol. I’m on my 5th rg300 one now🤪. The first one was a grey one from amazon anbernic store-this one had a faulty volume wheel which didn’t work. The second was from droidbox U.K.- this one was black and I queried why the screen was so much better however had a screen flicker on every game☹️. The third was from amazon in grey and was ok until the grain on the screen really annoyed me so I thought I’d try another grey one. The fourth was the same unfortunately so I though I’d stick with the third one as the buttons felt better as the fourth buttons kept sticking. Eventually I was lucky enough to see a black one finally became available on Amazon. I received it and finally I have the better screen version and all works perfect🤞🏾😃. Also the volume wheel is definitely faulty as I can adjust mine so it’s very quiet or very loud plus it sticks out unlike my previous versions which were like yours. I’d give my black version 10/10 and probably the best retro console to date. If you get chance send yours back and order the one I got from RetroJOY U.K. store on amazon - clear black one 😜 You also forgot to mention that there are in fact two versions of the rg300. The first was the all grey and clear black ones - they then revamped it with a better screen and brought out your SNES grey version and a clear black on. The firmware update had been available for about two weeks now on Jutleys Wixsite to download which has more emulators and more stable software. Give that a go with the new black clear version and I guarantee you’ll have a huge shock 😃

Just goes to show how much I like it lol. After seeing so many people on the retrogame handheld paradise Facebook page rave how good it is I was keen to get a perfect version. I’m pretty confident in saying now that this is “the” one. The rg350 is horrendous and “tries” to look like some sort of meld with a PSP and a switch. I’m a firm believer in playing retro games with a sympathetic feel and looks and pays homage to the originals. In other words if it doesn’t look good and doesn’t play well I’m not interested lol

PSP's and Raspberry Pi 2 (and up) can emulate PSOne well, the Freeplay CM3 might be able to run PSOne games, but probably doesn't have enough shoulder buttobs being GBA shaped...
