I try to do some lore when introducing a special character...but not all the time. I bought this figure before Azrael was announced but Lazarus looked too good to pass up

I have to get Azrael and the Lion after seeing them, so I'll have to get Lazarus as well. The intercessors were pretty disappointing, but the special Dark Angels are looking incredible.

You are 100% correct the regular intercessors were "flat" looking and I agree with you in that the characters/ special characters looking pretty damn good especially Azrael and of course the Lion

One way to make those intercessors more unique is kitbashing with other JT figures particularly Black Templar Crusader intercessors for their belted tabards as well as custom 3D printed heads and pauldrons.

I went for the more anonymous "Master with Power Fist" clone because I like powerfist more than rabbit ears :P The painting is a bit dull (but better than original intercessors) but they have a lot of trinkets, weapons, and that beautiful cape: all the painting skills from JT went into it apparently ... so sad that it 95% of times it will stay completely hidded to view in my shelf! Thanks for the review!

I still have the unnamed DA Master to review (he's still sitting in the box). I'll likely have to get around to him because as you know, Mephiston and Tigurius are coming! Yeah the original intercessors along with the salamanders intercessors were a bit too flat. I'm glad that there are highlights on him

While unnamed on the box, the Fistin' company master does bear the heraldry of the 4th company... Which means he's actually Master Korahael, Master of the Fleet.

Once again a solid review brother Sprues! Congrats for your partnership. Well, this dark angel master is great in details and accesories, but for my taste, it lacks on painting love. That bolter needs shading and the caliban green armour would benefit from some highligthing. Sure, JT even could apply a fast drybrush for it, it would make the figure more interesting. It would be great to see a review on Captain Messinius from the White Consuls chapter, seems dope. Thanks again brother Sprues, keep it up!!

There are yellow highlights on the figure, although they are a bit subtle. However the bolt rifle does need some shading/ weathering and it definitely is not on par with the rest of the weapons that were released. As for Messinius, I have not picked him up yet because I found the choice to make an action figure based on a minor chapter to be quite head scratching when there are other major characters such as Dante, Asmodai, Grimaldus, etc that should be released. So based on that, I will likely pass on the Consuls

As always great video. Maaan these JT releases are awesome. Wish I can afford them all but Im sticking to my chosen chapters BT, Grey Knights and the Custodes. Again keep up the great work.

You left out the Blood Angels...haha. Yeah these action figures do not come cheap. I've had to divert my GW miniature spending to these figures b/c I barely paint and no longer play the tabletop game. Thanks for the props!

Lazarus is indeed a welcome addition to the roster, but I'm a bit saddened since I much preferred the old Company Master or Balthasar sculpt but oh well...

I'm not sure that they would produce older figures but there may be a good chance. At least DA lovers are getting Azrael and the Lion in a couple of months

Love the design, handling feels like trash. I hate this gummy trend JT is heading to. BT Lombast and Dragen honestly are the peak of Jt, perfectly blend soft/hard plastic where needs to. Yet somehow JT recent releases become hasbrolized, gummy pos with somewhat good aesthetic. The previous DA intercessors look and feel much more like high quality products.

I think that the design of JT WH40K action figures remain very true to the design of the original GW minis for sure. While the direction of some of the figs that JT has produced is questionable, I think that they still remain true to form
