Just received my Pancky and got to hunt this weekend with it, it really does well and my friend was using a Garrett and we both found some things...the Pancky seems to hold its own especially for the value dollar to dollar aginst premium brands.

Awww! That is so awesome. You are so kind. I am going to be giving a bunch a detectors away for Christmas to some kids in my area. My neighbor works at an elementary school and I asked her to let me know if there are any disadvantaged kids in the school that we could give them away to. She is going to coordinate something with me. Most kids only play video games these days and I am hoping a metal detector would be something a kid would want to have.

Thanks Dan. There are a bunch of people on KZbin that make really good review videos. This is why I end up wanting some of the detectors to try out so badly. I had the chance to review that same detector last August LOL. I thought it was built well for a beginner machine and cheap enough so that if the person stopped the hobby they would not be out a ton of money like the would for Simplex, Vanquish, or even the Apex. Looks like I got some competition when it comes to reviewing metal detectors LOL.
@FuturesPast13 жыл бұрын
Nah. I am definitely not your competition, lol. Your reviews probably blow mine away. I will check out your reviews and marathon watch them tonight and also make sure I am subbed to you. I just love making video reviews of electronics because I like to give myself something to do, lol. The Pancky is a good entry level machine. The menu reminds me of the Dr. Otek MT-XR even though both are different, they are similar. I liked the color and the accessories were pretty nice. UPDATE: I just started watching your videos. I love your channel! You are so funny 👍👍. Future Mark is so hysterical 🤣😂

Really! Hmm Dr. Otek is $20 cheaper. If there was a comparison the detectors would probably be equal because of that controller.
@FuturesPast12 жыл бұрын
@@juanpaulr Yes, the price is cheaper. However I think you get more accessories with this one though. However, performance wise, I would choose the Dr. Otek MT-XR over the Pancky. I've tried both and the coil on the Dr. Otek is way more accurate, finds objects deeper and picks up more things from what I've experienced.
@tinyhandsbighearts34392 жыл бұрын
Well crap I guess we couldn’t see how you built it??? I’m searching all over for a video to connect the box to the pole 😭😭
@FuturesPast12 жыл бұрын
Don't give up. I had issues too and almost threw it out the window in frustration, lol. Keep trying, eventually you will figure it out. Look at the Amazon product page. Some people post videos on how to put it together or the seller usually has a video where the pictures are on the listing doing a video. It is simple. Just make sure the bottom part of the pole (the one that screws into the coil) clicks into the next pole. There are little metal push in buttons on it. Push the buttons in and insert the pole and pull it up and down until the little metal button clicks into one of the holes on the shaft of the pole. You will see it pop through the hole and you should hear it click into place. Sometimes you have to turn the pole around when inserting it and move it up and down until the little push in button lines up with a hole and pops through one of the holes on the pole. Good luck and let me know if it works for you. Sometimes when inserting the pole into each other you don't realize it, but you have it facing backwards by accident with the holes facing the wrong way. You might have to unscrew the coil and take it off and turn the upper pole to face the opposite direction and then just screw the coil back on and try pushing the little buttons into one of the holes again.

What do you do with all those detectors when you are done lol I am watching the reviews very closely cuz I'm going to buy a spare or two when i am out detecting local parks i am so lucky that my little town has 10 parks and pretty much the whole town know i am detecting and they are very interested in what i am finding we have an online community board and that's how I get all my permissions it's been going crazy this year i think i have 20 new permission s But when i do the parks i always have people asking about metal detecting so next year when they ask I will ask them to join me hunting in the park and let them use the spare machine s
@FuturesPast13 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching. These detectors are great to have as spares if you are an advanced metal detectorist. They are phenomenal for beginners as entry level machines. With these entry level machines I have found a beautiful silver ring, a gold plated silver charm bracelet, lovely 1940's Australian pennies, loads of clad, etc. They all work very well. I am going to save a few of these to go detecting with my daughters and husband as a family and the rest I am giving away to disadvantaged kids in the local school nearby. My neighbor works at an elementary school and said there are a few kids who are poor and would love to get gifts such as these.

@@theberkshiresmatreasurehun5337 I know what you mean about the learning curve. This is why I like simple machines like this. Just turn it on, hit a few buttons and start detecting. @@FuturesPast1 No real joke it's just a few months ago I and other creators Marty (Marty's nuts about diggin and coin), Bill, Team Lynch, Timy Shaw and his wife did a benefit live stream and gave any money raised to the Epilepsy Foundation and to the Make A Wish Foundation, Anyone who donated got a chance to win several cool items. The Pancky detector was the prize I put up and Bill (PAPAROUS) won it so that's why I said does that look familiar LOL. The best part was Instead of taking the detector for himself Bill said to give it away to a local kid who seemed interested in the hobby. So if the mail service is true the not-so-local-kid should get it tomorrow. I threw in an extra pinpointer I had too. The kid saw me and a bunch of other detectorist on youtube and thought it was cool, so his mother (who happens to be my first x-wife got in touch with me). Damn now that's a novel right there.
