When I got my first edition SailorMoon it also has a crack on elbow joint and I didn't even take it out of the box ever. I guess the quality of the plastic is not so good.. I hope the New releases won't have that same issue. P.S. You need a good lighting, the vid is clear but kinda dark.

I doubt it. I don't even know if Tuxedo Mask with ever get the Animation Color Edition; in the same way as the Senshi have. I'm also wondering if they'll give Sailor Chibi Moon the same treatment...🤨

I agree, the animation color just looks better and I feel is more anime-correct. The shiny look on the other one looks good, I suppose, it looks good in its own way, but I just prefer the flatter matte finish on the animation color

'Pearl finish' is the term to describe the original figure uniform paint. 'shimmering'? 'glimmering'? I believe she might also have drop down legs at the hips for more dynamic posing? I'm not sure. I watch these review videos and keep mine sealed. The things are expensive!

I've found that my Sailor Mercury can stand decently on her own, more so than the others.

Maybe the old one you got is a bootleg? If it didn't come whit a toei sticker on the package it's a bootleg (I apologise in advance if this is obvious to you) Anyway the reason I even mentioned this is that I got a bootleg of sailor moon & the plastic on that one also got worse whit time. It gotten so bad the plastic actually smell bad..I probably should throw it away! I just bought the new one that shown in the video anyway. :> My super sailor moon figure arts (to bad it's still broken) doesn't stink & the plastic is just fine! That is a real one that came whit a toei sticker. I also bought a few other authentic figures (used) that's probably 4 yrs old by now & there is nothing wrong whit them either. Come to think of it my (fake) sailor moon doesn't have a ball joint either. It's just like yours! Every other figure that I have that came whit a toei sticker does have ball joints.

I'm really curious if they are gonna redo the Super Sailor scouts...cuz those had so many better accesories. I think Sailor Moon and Mercury are the most worth it to get their normal versions cuz they come with some fun unique stuff. But also like....I will probably get them all anyway hahha.

the animation color does look better overall. however I think the more metallic and deeper blue eyes and bright red on the 'meatballs' look way better. I also think her face in the older model looks better overall. the proportions of and shape of the face and eyes look better. otherwise though the paint more flat and muted on the SH figuarts is superior.

As an adult man I could not watch sailor moon again. It's just it's girly and I don't want to watch it again. Watching the series at 5 years old is enough. Yes I am aware it has zombies or monsters in it but sailor moon is not for me.

@@melodyx1665 Well keep in mind I was 5 when I watched it and this was in old school toonami day's. Which would put this in the 90's I think. Not to mention the whole cousin mistranslation because they were uncomfortable with a lesbian couple just made the curtain scene's akward.
