I have the same model and when I ordered it I also ordered the traxxas ID charger that came with a lipo 2s 5800MAH battery for only $109.95. The raptor cost $249.95.so total was only about $360.00 plus taxes that’s not bad. The truck does come with a NiMH battery it’s not a lipo battery so the truck will never reach it’s top speed so I highly recommend getting a lipo battery and traxxas Id charger. With the lipo battery you can max out at 7600MAH 2 cell 7.4 volt lipo. I love this truck the waterproof servos, receiver, and speed controller are a big plus. The tires have grate traction on dirt try to avoid wet leaves the truck has a good bit of torque so it will get stuck sometimes when on wet leaves. I own 6 nitro traxxas vehicles so this was my first electric vehicle since I was a kid. I also have the electric mustang GT 5.0 it’s four wheel drive love that officially licensed ford body traxxas and ford make a good team. I also bought the 35 ford hot rod truck it’s pre wired with l.e.d. Headlights and l.e.d. brake lights I love traxxas I’ll post videos of them later.

I don't use antenna tube. Just attached mine to front body mount. Range is very good.

I used a lipo and it didn't change the top speed or anything... its a 30MPH one, looks slow since its going uphill on loose dirt, its just fast enough to keep it under control at the track at least

Get the brushless motor and put the lipo in and you’ll have almost too much power to get traction

yes it comes with one battery and a DC charger, I would highly recommend buying the separate AC charger

How long can you drive with one lipo?

I borrowed a friend's Lipo once and It lasted a very long time, like 40 minutes or more, I got bored of driving before it died lol... the Nickel ones last probably 25+ minutes each though, depends on how often you are going full throttle
