The larger part of the mushroom top for the hole punch will make the pages flip easier and they will not come off of any brand of discs. I really like your cover choice. That paper is 70lb Mohawk paper made in NY which I so appreciate. Thanks for sharing this! I was using undated for work and it's just not as helpful as dated so I'm probably going to switch over to this same one.

Thanks so much for sharing! I’ve been looking into getting a daily planner but have been torn as to which one to get. Love this one, especially because it’s disc-bound! I didn’t think they offered such. Looking forward to seeing how you decorate it😊

Thanks for this...been contemplating getting Plum Paper for disc-bound. I love Plum Paper paper and the set-up of the first few pages, but I love the Happy Planner vertical week pages.

I really like the paper in the Plum Paper (except when it comes to moving stickers around once they've already been stuck) but Happy Planner definitely has my heart for weekly layouts! 😊💕

One benefit of discbound you can combine the two.

Hello everyone! What size discs do you recommend for PPP A5?
@KatelynPlans3 жыл бұрын
I’m not completely sold on using HP discs with a PPP; there’s a little too much wiggle room for my liking unless you get unbound pages and punch them with the HP punch to match the discs. I’ve heard good things about the Levenger discs!

Do you still use this planner? How do you like the disc punch? Does it work ok for you?
@KatelynPlans3 жыл бұрын
I do still use this planner! I actually just ordered a second one for the next six months. I really love disc punches in general but their punching wasn't my favorite. For the new one I order it unbound and unpunched so that I could use my Happy Planner punch to do it myself.

@@KatelynPlans Oh wow. What didn’t you like about their punch?

@@KatelynPlans Oh, I just read your other comment. I guess you like your mushrooms smaller for a more snug fit?

I’m a little confused about the discs. The discs are Happy Planner metal but then you said they are a little thinner than the Happy Planner one....? Do you mean the metal discs are thinner than the plastic ones because both discs you are referencing are Happy Planner discs right? I’m getting my first PPP and I thought it’s weird that they don’t sell the discs but I emailed them and they said their customers suggest Levenger discs and the HP discs don’t fit as well.

Inkwell Press also has discs.

She was talking about how big the mushroom part was on the cuts on the PPP. She was saying she hopes the pages stay on the happy planner discs. With a happy planner the pages are more snug because the mushroom is smaller on their pages. A bigger mushroom will make the pages easier to turn, so that means PPP has a good cut for their disc bound option. Another commenter also stated this.

Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to the punches on the pages not being the size I'm used to from my HPs. I've heard the Levenger ones work well or even Jane's Agenda. I just ordered a second one of these planners for the next six months but went with the unbound/unpunched so I could do the punches with my HP punch to make the holes the size I like. Hope this helps!
