I noticed when mounting a HS507CX2 that I had to use the shortest set of screws, instead of the medium sized the manual recommends. The medium length bottomed out way too early.

They did a video addressing that. They advised that Holosun changed the dimensions of the sight on the V2 and that the Viper screws were now recommended for the 507C V2 optic. I would check with them to make sure you have the correct screws installed. JMO

I just picked up my new mr920 elite yesterday and I notice the slide to frame fit is pretty loose from the front end. The front end of the slide wobbles from side to side if I induce it. Is this normal for shadow systems quality control?

I would contact them to see if it’s something you can have them fix. From what I’ve heard, they are really good about warranting things.

Great video. I just ordered one a few minutes ago. I have a question regarding red dots. I have yet to seeing a video of this pistol with the 509T Holosun. Everybody is running the 508t,is there any reason for that? I’m considering the 509 because it is enclosed but I’d like to get some feedback and your thoughts.

That is going to come down to the mounting footprint of the 509. It may just be incompatible with the MR920.

@@GunBoxTherapy I found out that in order to mount the 509 you need the adapter plate which will add a little bit of height. I’m about to order the 508t so that it sits flush even though I’m sure the plate adapter will not add much height to it. I’m trying to have it sit as low as possible. Your channel is great and thank you for the clear camera work and feedback.

They are a little pricey, but I think when compared to what all of these upgrades would cost plus the cost of a G19 there is value in it.

Palmetto state armory has a sale on them you should check it out, maybe 1$50 more than what a regular stock Glock is going for with these Covid prices so there is value to it. Worst case scenario you sell it later on and get even or maybe even more than what you paid.

It seems like Shadow Systems is putting on different front sights and a different trigger on these ones. Older models have a different style trigger and front sights. Would be interesting to compare the two triggers.

From what I understand, you can use them but for some reason they tend to create malfunctions. I've kinda read mixed reviews on that but it seems like the issue that happens is the mag under inserting. It does suck but the Magpul mags are cheaper and more reliable in the gun so I think it's a win-win.

Compared to other custom Glocks it's actually a pretty good deal. And it has a ton of enhancements over a factory Glock. With all the work that is done, I don't feel that it is "overpriced". Perhaps just pricey for people who don't have $1000 to spend on a handgun. My Agency Arms cost me twice what they want for this pistol. AND $1,000 or less is not that expensive for a pistol. Competition handguns easily run three or four times that. My STI fot example cost me over 3 grand. But I wouldn't go out and say it's just a "knock off" of a 1911 that is "overpriced". Lol.
