The Kingbox ESC is actually an unbranded HobbyStar 60a waterproof ESC. Instructions: hobbystarlabs.com/media/library/45A_60A_Sensorless_Waterproof.pdf Programming Card (~$12 on Ebay): hobbystarlabs.com/programming/hobbystar-led-program-card.html#.WDVtQxorKW8 Yes, the short wire is used for the programming card and there is no way to program the ESC without a card.

the esc sucks i was running on 3s ran perfectly connected a fan after a 10sec run esc started smoking
