Thank you so much! And I think that is a good move. Hopefully they take a similar approach as they did to the 16 inch Pro. Unfortunately, I could wait as I came from a 2013 model which was giving me some issues. I would have been more apprehensive if it had a dual core processor, but I am impressed with the performance of this one to say the least.

Great video! I’m about to buy in next couple of days the same model but the 256gb version. I never had a MacBook before so very excited. Thanks for all the useful information. The only thing that I’m not really happy about it is the fact is that it has only 2 ports but you did show that they are adapters available, so I hope I’ll be able to extend that and also be able to use the normal USB ports like the regular lightning cable has. Great video. Loved it. I have the exact same laptop but mine is the space grey colour. I absolutely love it. Bought it back in May. My first laptop ever. For the longest time, I was using my dad's and stepmom's laptop (they have the early 2011 MacBook Pro). I love it but it doesn't hold a charge and it acts up a lot so I bought my own and it's the best purchase I've made this year. Crazy expensive but definitely worth the money. I recommend this to anyone who's looking to buy a laptop. You won't regret buying this. Trust me.

Curious what made you purchase this MacBook Pro as opposed to the new MacBook Air? (I am not sure when the 2020 Air came out so it may not have been an option for you at the time of your purchase).

I don’t blame you! I’ve been doing it for years, but figured I should get behind the camera myself haha. I got the Pro because for the price (at the time) it was a better value to me than the MacBook Air. It had a larger trackpad, a better display, speakers, and a faster quad core processor and graphics. I wanted to have the extra performance for video editing because I hope to get further involved in content creation. On that note, if you like unboxing videos, stay tuned! I have an Apple Watch unboxing in the works. College has been keeping me busy, hence the infrequency of uploads

Hey I have a weird question. Can you please let me know what sort of package protection are in the Amazon boxes since I will take my soon-arriving MBP 13 in checked in luggage on my airplane trip and I want to know if the amazon packaging offers any protection to the macbook's box itself

Sorry, for not getting back to you sooner, but it was pretty well protection. Mine came in a snug-fit cardboard box, which was then placed in side another larger box, using inflated plastic cushions as protection. The Apple box itself was unscathed and in mint condition.

I wouldn’t say so! While using mine for Office, I have never had heat up or have had the fans kick on unless I was running a few apps at a time. Is a pre-owned or new model?

Its hard not to recommend the Pro with all the extra features it offers, especially if you can find a good deal. I got mine for $200 off at Amazon, so I paid the same price as an Air. That said, if portability is more important than power, the Air is probably best. It's noticeably easier to carry around and pull in and out of a bag.

That answer depends on who you ask. For casual web browsing, the occasional game or two, and watching videos, 8gbs should be great!

128gbs works well so long as you’re not video editing and/or playing games. Otherwise, iCloud should help out a lot!

Honestly, if you're really serious about gaming, you can find better performing Windows machines w/out a doubt for a lot cheaper. Check out something like the Acer Nitro 5 (which I plan on reviewing in the next few weeks). Consoles are also great and easy to manage alternatives that would be better suited for games. I'll talk more about this in the final review!

BTXTS i’m just being honestly like the only thing my macbook pro can run is minecraft at 60 fps, and the 2 graphics cards are literally so garbage Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 but if your going to buy a macbook pro 13’ 2019 go big like i did i bought 256gb of storage and i’ve probably used like 4gb lmao. I love the macbook pro though it’s perfect for watching anime, and youtube in 4k resolution at the end of the day it’s not for gaming though it’s for everyday life for students and editing photos or videos.

That Mac Book ran like a beast, and I never had any problems, and the little concerns I had I took it to the Genius Bar and they were Great! So I know I'll have this one for a long time.

MacBooks are great but they are far from the best value for the money! That said, I just worked hard and saved up while I was in school. I think it was totally worth it, but you can get a lot of great computers for a lot less. Or even a MacBook if you buy used
