I am a competitive paddler and will be getting a CI after going deaf in one ear due to sudden hearing loss. The AB waterproof battery seems to be the most robust compared to the other two brands' waterproof options. How does it work for you?

Received kit from audiologist office. Did not receive a dryer. Does that need to be ordered?

It could be that the dryer is on backorder - your packing sheet will list any backordered items at the top and these items will be shipped once they're available. Reach out to AB's customer service if you have questions.

I just got my marvel upgrade kit yesterday! Yayy! No magnets in the kit though (like yours). Does my audiologist have those and will provide them at my 1st mapping? Liking your vids by the way. Very helpful :)

Insurance usually covers at least part of the kit. But here in the US, it varies from plan to plan. The accessories are optional here and you can pick which accessories you want.

No problems with the battery at all - mine last around 22-24 hours even with hours and hours of streaming. LOVE my Marvels!

How does the retention thing work? I keep losing my Q90’s when lying down or taking my mask off.

There are 2 retention options, the M Snuggie and the M Retention cuff, the snuggie is like a rubber ring that loops around your ear and holds the processor, the retention cuff is a plastic sleeve that goes over the processor with a wire that you bend up under the bottom of your ear to keep in on. Both work quite well, just depends on your preference.
