Nice review. They hid Easter eggs inside those decal sheets. The 71 sheet you can actually make the #7 Dean Dalton #7 Ford Torino with the Belsen’s Asphalt, as well as 429’s👍👍

Great tip about the length of the chassis/ wheelbase. When MPC originally issued this kit as the Wood brothers Donnie Allison car, it had a series of 3 pins and corresponding holes to set the length as this chassis was used under a number of different bodies. This release is missing some bars from the roll cage as well. It did come with some great (although fictitious) decals.

Thanks for that extra bit of info about the bars and the decals, appreciate you watching.

I got that kit in my stash. Didnt realize it came with all that extra stuff in it. I wish it could be built stock. Thanks for sharing.

I guess one could say it’s about as stock as they come.... but I’d want to customize it a bit more.

Great looking kit, I really like the box art. I'd love to have two of these. One to build as is. The other, I have always wanted to build a older NASCAR converted to street legal. This kit would be perfect for that. Thanks for sharing brother.🤠👍

FIRST VIEW! FIRST LIKE! JUST....FIRST! FIRST COMMENTS. I think it is amazing that you have talent for this. Do you like making the models or working on the REAL CARS better? Because you are GREAT AT BOTH!!! BUT...which is your favorite? Ruthie. 12.10.22
@MarKoCustomBuildModels2 жыл бұрын
Oh.... Ms Ruthie that’s a hard one! I actually like them both, and I find one helps with the other, sometimes I’m in the mood to do one or the other, and the models can be more creative for less money.

@@MarKoCustomBuildModels Creativity and less Money! Great answer! I know that I kind of "cornered you" on that one. I think it is great that you have skills FOR BOTH. The MICRO LEVEL and the MACRO LEVEL. Amazing! Not too many people can say this. Ruthie 12/10/22

Great unboxing! The Cyclone is a cool car. Unattractive, but cool! 👍🏻

Cool car it is.

@@MarKoCustomBuildModels I agree! I really like unique cars. There are a lot of Camaros, Mustangs and such. Mercury had some really cool cars that often get overlooked.

If you are going to build that 71 Mercury cyclone stock car I would use the polar lights chassis and engine and roll cage because everything in that mercury kit especially the rear end is totally wrong it doesn't look right and also you would need steel wheels instead of the chrome wheels that are on that Chrome tree that are incorrect that's what I would do if I was going to build that mercury cyclone use the polar lights kit all the chassis rear end and front suspension and a 427 or 429 engine would be perfect

Thanks Scott, that's some good advice for anyone building this kit.
