Thanks Tom! It was interesting to see that the 65 can be easily restored because most of the 66 is still a 65.

The newer 66 kit, On the fuel injection hood, if used with the stock grill there's a gap in between the hood and grill, and I noticed that the 66 kit has a 65 dashboard 66 had rectangle Gauge and 65 have round gauges

Yeah it makes sense for the fuel injected hood to be with the 65 drag version and the Hilborn but like I said I couldn't find any sources showing it with it and the instructions don't show it. But if there's a gap then it likely matches up with the 65 grille. Thanks for the comment

Thanks! They can feel a bit repetitive while making them but I like having that resource out there.

I was wondering why the '65 Wildcat tends to be so expensive compared to the '66 or other Wildcat models? Was there ever another production since the original '65 issue?
@sodakmodelcars Жыл бұрын
I think I tried to explain it in this video, maybe it was another. But yes it's hard to find as there was only a one time issue of the 65, then it was changed to the 66 for the next year and then has since been re-released a few times making it much easier to aquire. The 66 still has the 65 dash and Interior so technically they would only need to retool the body/bumpers but probably not enough demand or interest to do so. There's many examples of this like 67-72 Chevy pickups, all were produced but only the 72 remains because 73 was a major body style change and so enough tooling needed to be changed to leave it after 72. 64&65 Chevelles/El Caminos are another. 64 was one year and then they altered tooling for 65 and 65 varieties remain, another example is the 65 Chevelle tooling was then turned into a drag car with altered wheel base so the stock 65 variation is gone as well.
