What a great fermenter! Interesting to see how the beer turns out in it.

So far it's been awesome under pressure. I have a bout another week before I get to taste the finished product.

Great start, but I really hate that lid so much! Wish they had TC ports in the lid and preferably a metal lid.

Yeah, I have only just started using tri connectors so it makes no difference to me. I believe they use plastic lids for pressure fermenting as it seals a lot better under pressure. I am under the impression you can add stainless lids with tri connectors as an option. Not sure.

Hi mate. Just got one of these. The thermowell looks a bit dodgy. The top is polished, but the rest looks matte and untreated. Did you have the same thing?
@SimpleHomeBrew11 ай бұрын
Mine looks the same, it hasn't affected any of my brews as yet so I wouldn't be concerned!

Have you had any preside leaks?? I’m doing a first brew in one and have a slow pressure leak from somewhere. I’m thinking maybe through the pressure release valve on the lid which seems very easy to lift it.

No, I think if you use a spundy and place a 30 psi prv for safety it sould help with pressure control.

My wife liked my wine. So she let me up grade to stainless! I don't break glass now. but ! do use glass for ageing and clearing.

I'm with you on that one, glass for me is the way to go.
