I heard in another review that the resolution is lower, thus the text bigger. But I am bummed too. The ultra modular is my go to WF

That’s not right. Both are 326px per inch. Ultra is 410x502px vs 416x496. So the series 10 is a little wider and the Ultra is a little taller. But nearly identical

Thanks for showing this. I originally ordered slate because the pictures on Apple’s website made natural look really yellow. After seeing this video I quickly cancelled and ordered the 46mm natural and ML Milanese loop

I've always leaned more towards the Series watches, but battery and screen kept me with the ultra. I am keeping the ultra as well though, but I was more than ready for the change

up to 36 hours Battery life varies with use, but Apple officially claims that the Ultra 2 lasts up to 36 hours with normal use, or up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode (LPM), just like the last generation. With GPS on and no battery-saving settings, it lasts 12 hours. However, the Apple Watch series 10 will last for 18 hours with no battery saving settings .

I bought the SLATE Titanium. FYI. I had a Series 4 Black Stainless and wanted a black Apple Watch but didn’t want the aluminum version. I’m happy to report. The slate looks almost black! In fact the slate Milanese loop looks too light compared to the actual watch. If you’re looking for a black titanium Apple Watch 10. Buy the SLATE! Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for confirming this. I actually did not want black and picked natural instead (which looks yellow on website). Whoever is in charge of the pictures on Apple’s website should be fired because the slate does not look black but this is confirmed watching other videos of it.

@@bsem68 - if you wanted a black Apple Watch titanium. You will be very happy with the slate. I promise you. I actually like it better than my black stainless. Just don’t waste your money on the Milanese loop. For some reason that band looks so much lighter than the actual watch.

This review seals the deal for me… or upgrading from my ultra 1. If this had the mod ultra wf with visible seconds I would give up the battery life and o2 sensor. But as it is I won’t. So either will wait for ultra 3 for the always on second display and better noise cancellation for calls or see if mod ultra wf gets added

Glad I was able to help. More I thought about it. I don’t see them adding it to the Series 10. Problem with the 10 is the 2 sizes. 42mm won’t have a big enough display for the watch face.

9-21-24 Forget the dubious carbon neutral song and dance particularly when it comes to Apple. Mind you that I'm not complaining about the famous fun to open presentation method Apple invented of a relatively fragile/expensive product. For your consideration I'm just suggesting that if they were serious about the carbon tap dance they could have sent us the Apple series 10 watch, charger and band in a small UPS shipping sack vs the shipping box containing an Apple box in turn containing useless paperwork and two additional boxes, one for the band and one for the watch/charger. As to the Series 10 effort I think they have an absolute winner. I also think that it's highly unlikely that anyone with an IQ under 150 will ever locate.. plus get command of all of the various model functions, capabilities and complications. California

I personally would rather have leather bands and cases back then the fully carbon neutral stance, but I do think keeping the band and watch separate does allow for them to quickly switch them out. Causing less shipping overall.
