I had run across your a300 review last year when I was researching for a waterfowl shotgun. I ended up purchasing one. I liked it and later got an a400 ep in bottomland. I’m curious to see what choke you go with. Love my Beretta’s and I subscribed as I’m interested in seeing how it plays out. You do great reviews.

I bought one about 2 years ago because I wanted to shoot 3 1/2" shells and my AL 390 would only cycle up to 3". It shoots well enough but, to be honest, I prefer the AL 390. The only advantage the A400 has is the ability to cycle 3 1/2" which I no longer use because of the expense and discomfort of shooting them with no noticeable advantage. The Kick-Off system is nice but I really don't notice the recoil while I'm hunting ducks or pheasants. I'm not knocking the A400 because it's a really fine shotgun, I just prefer the AL 390. Yes, I'm splitting hairs. It's a nice problem to have.

Hi I just purchased one yesterday. It's my first semi auto shotgun. I have enjoyed my 8 yr old Benelli Super Nova, but i wanted to try something different. I went to the local Canadian Tire outdoor store and tried a few of the guns out. This one stood out the most. I really like how it felt in the hands, how it comfortably squared up to my shoulder and the feel of quality. It's not inexpensive, but I am believer in buying once and crying once lol. I hope for many years of quality waterfowl hunting. Love your hat!
@VictorMarines06Ай бұрын
FYI: That red trigger lock you removed at the beginning of the video is Cabela's/Bass Pro's mandatory trigger lock. The company requires it before you walk out of the store. Beretta doesn't put trigger locks on their guns.

Best shotgun I’ve ever owned. I have a lot of buddies who use the Benelli M2 Bonelli super black eagle three and the Franchi shotguns and have issues with them on every other hunt. Same with the browning maxus. Nothing beats it. Can shoot 3 1/2 shells all day long , easy to clean,and plus it has all of the best features.

The A400 plus is the end all be all of shotguns I got this shotgun when it was released and it has been nothing but a pleasure for hunting and sporting needs. I use it for clays and upland game hunting. I only shoot 3 1/2 out of this gun for waterfowl hunting and use BB size shot. Iv shot this gun with many 2 3/4 as well with old ammo from Sears with paper shells and never had an issue with cycle or anything of the sort. I love the guns features as well, if you pull the bolt release up and hold the gate up it ejects the shells from the tube. And also if you hold the button down and pull the bolt back it spits out the current shell in the chamber and you can quickly load a new shell into chamber without having any shells from magazine cycling. The gun is a warrior that performs under any conditions. Over the years Iv had some small issues like mid bead disappeared(fell off) and the front cap no longer being buoyant. But never any performance issues.

This thing patterns a wider range of ammo better than the benelli but the benelli is great with cetain loads. Its really a close race with these 2. A400 shoots faster and softer.
