The stretching on the bottom of the commando sole is exposed to the ground when you walk how is that going to hold up?

The sole is usually glued and stitched. Usually wearing down the stitch won’t damage to construction. Nicks do the same. Some boots without a lugged sole don’t have a channeled stitch either. Ultimately how the construction holds up depends on the whole structure and not just the stitch. So far, these are fine - let’s see in a year!

Batch 3 onwards has a different Vibram sole - the lugs don’t go to the edge so the stitching on yours won’t even touch the ground. Enjoy!

Good job with the unboxing. I like how you showed the details and showed the try-on. The try-on is one aspect I need to show in my videos, so I’ve learned from you on that count. You make simple but quality videos, better than many of mine, with the different angles and pleasant background music etc😆 But what’s more important is having accurate information, so thanks for the closeups and good footage. More helpful than many unboxing videos out there…..Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with Bordon as well. Aside from some of their slightly crooked or sloppy stitching and the cushioned insole (which is fine, just not my preference) they were surprisingly well made for the price. Their stitchdown on yours isn’t perfect, a bit crooked, but it’s overall quite nice for them being a brand new company. I just think they need to channel the outsole where the threads go; maybe just me haha….Curious to hear your thoughts after some wear. Thanks, sir 🙏🏽
