Denim Darlin', I just entered the quality handcrafted boots scene this past May 2023. I have a bunch of Doc Marten's dating back over 12 years to more recent. I saw a video of a Doc Marten's Boot being cut in half and realized what I've been spending my money on! It is wonderful finding a woman talking boots - and selvedge denim, yes? Thank you for representing for the sisters (las chicas)! 😃👖🥾🥾PS: This was the best unboxing I have viewed, and I've watched quite a few! @@DenimDarlin I have a pair of JK Bison Customs in a 6" shaft on order as my first purchase; Grant Stone Brass Boots in Crimson Chromexcel and the Diesel Boots in Cognac Ostrich; and two pair of Oak Street Bootmakers Limited Releases: Indigo Roughout CXL Trench Boots and the Badalassi Nemesi Cotto Cap Toe Trench Boots. I started my journey trying to replace a pair of black Docs that were causing my ankles and feet to cramp while driving - yikes! I'm still searching for a beautiful black boot. I love your Bordon's but, I'm afraid to try another custom order. I am thinking of trying a pair of Truman Boots, if I can ever find my size in stock.

Congratulations! You are going to LOVE them!! I’ve never experienced such an easy break in process. The boots are sturdy, well-made and super comfortable out of the box. Seeing your video with the owners was fantastic and confirmed I had made a good choice. Real people making an honest product. I ordered them in the burgundy color with the commando lug soles, and Andres was very prompt in answering my sizing questions. I figure they will probably arrive around my birthday in the fall and will make a nice birthday present to myself.

I am thrilled to see this. I had the opportunity to visit Colombia in January and February and i was able to get a pair on site. I love my boots more than I can say. Plus, I got to play with their dog! The quality is incredible, they clearly put love and heart in their creations. ❤❤❤❤

It has been a year since you posted this video...and I was wondering just how these boots have faired for you in that amount of time. I have always wanted a pair of Pacific Northwest Boots, (White's, Nick's, Franks's or JK's), but cannot really afford the price tag. I was told...these Bordon's, are just as well made, at about half the cost. Considering ordering myself a pair of these. Just wondered what you thought about them after a year. I am sure you have had time to get them broke in fairly well. Well...if you happen to see this...maybe you could do another video, on how they are after a years time. Hi, I am so happy to hear that! They have softened up and feel comfortable. Initially the leather was really stiff around the ankle area and bending was tough. I’ll have to post an update but I do highly recommend. They are superb quality at an amazing price.

Do you know the difference between structured and Unstructured toe?

Hi! Yes. The unstructured toe of a boot will collapse (flatten out) over time. The structured toe will maintain its shape. That’s as much as I know. If there are other technical aspects, I am not sure.

Bordon makes nice boots but they have to do a better job in getting their boots out to their customers on time. They say 3-4 months but so far it has been more than 6 months and no boots, very disappointing.

I agree. As they grow, I hope they change their turn around time to a realistic time frame so we don’t feel that way and continue wanting to support their business.
