Funny you mention the drag, because I was just going to comment on that. On the Acura I've had since the spring the drag is really weak - even when tightening the star nut to max I can easily pull out line, and I feel I have to make hooksets (even with smaller fish annd light hook) with the thumb on the spool which is annoying. My other Acura that I used for the first time yesterday seems better, but maybe it will get slightly worse with time..? Everything else I'm super pleased with, my older one (7.1:1) is so smooth and effortless to turn the handle that I wonder if there even are any gears inside.. :)

Good thing it's not a one off, my friend's drag was weak out of the box. Both ones I had/have were/are fine with no drag issues.

Take the drag star off and just see what the situation is with the washers. Maybe something is restricting it from being tightened

Yes 😃 😆 that I also needed to upgrade the brakes but it goes to 1,5 grams comfortably

@BGJ2121 S693 or 3x8x4mm, I've used this ones: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EGUFE9L And the magnets are 4x0.5mm But I warn you that it's a bit of work on this reel, you can check the Histar Aurora Air reel, better performance, a bit worse quality control, lighter, smaller and if you ever want to swap bearings is a lot easier.
