Its physics.... No way you can mine anything more than $0.00000000001 a day without spending $$$ on power. The difficulty level now precludes (on purpose) the easy mining of BTC. Estimated monthly generated BTC: 0.00024BTC =$95 at 4TH. At 10 cents a KwH (very cheap where I live, in some places you might pay 4 times as much) deduct $10 for power. So you are left with maybe $80, accounting for some downtime etc. The device costs about $160 (plus SH). So after 2 month you are starting to make money, but by then the difficulty will have increased also! Just buy your Bitcoin at an exchange. But I can see how this is a fun project. Incidentally, I mined BTC when it was around $300. Those were the days.
