Nope!! This doesnt really mine anything, and ill explain in a sec 1- This doesnt mine anything. Well technically it does, but not in the way you think See, traditional mining is joining something called a "mining pool" There, you'll be basically working together with other miners to mine a "block" (You can think of a block as a reward given by bitcoin, it is worth about 3 Bitcoins) Then, the pool distributes this block among all miners inside the pool, depending on how much you contributed aka how strong your machine was With this machine, its made to solo mine Solo mining is allt different, you mine *alone* And you dont earn any btc unless you get lucky and hit a block, if you do, you get 3 BTC all to yourself Sounds great!! Right? Well ofc there's a catch, since its just one small machine, Every 10 minutes a block is distributed, And if you're lucky enough, Your little machine just might be the lucky one the hits the block Usually huge crypto factory hit blocks because they have just so damn many powerful miners, And crypto pools usually hit blocks because well, its a bunch of different miners working together. ALOT OF THEM But with solo mining your alone, Thats why its also called "lottery mining" because it's so rare for you to hit a block, That its as if you're playing the lottery for 200,000$ against the entire world's population Very rare, but its as if ur joining a lottery every 10 minutes Which is better than lottery tickets, cuz with those u gotta buy a new ticket every 10 mins, With this, its completely free (aslong as u set up solar panels to make up for electricity costs) So i would recommend: By all means!! Get one, or get a smaller one, Itd be a wonderful experience, and you never know!! Maybe you're lucky enough to hit a block!! But dont purchase many. Please dont, because theres a good chance it might all go to waste so please dont risk your money And now for your final question: "can it mine other cryptocurrencies?" The answer is: Nope!! Sadly not, when these solo mining machines are built, They're built on a specific "mining algorithm" AKA, they're built to mine one currency, and sadly that cannot be changed Itll usually be bitcoin!! Here’s a fun little story. I was living rent free and a three bedroom home in Sacramento California in the fall of 2018. It was just me and my teenage daughter and for Christmas actually a little early for Christmas. I bought myself three light coin minors can’t remember the models, but I got three of them for $100 each at the time white coin was in the $35 range per coin my winter heat bill even though it was northern California was coming in about $200 a month for December January February March and the minors were a little noisy, but I decided to stick one in my daughters room one in my room and in the kitchen, they ran 825 W each and I shut off the heat in the house and we ran all the way through with those three miners. I saved about $1000 on my gas bill. I sold the three minors for $300 apiece in June so I netted about $1000 there I also sold all my litecoin

Your power transformer has a 86% efficiency and is wasting into heat and other losses 14w.. A tip is to maybe use a power transformer that uses GaN technology that has less losses.👍

I'm not getting the economics of this yet. I'm obviously overlooking something. If you make $.40 a day x 30 = $120 a month x 12 = $1,440 a year. But you power use is say... 140w x 24 hours, x 30 days = 100800w, x or 100KW. In CA that's about $.30 a kw, or $33.5 a month x 12 = $405. So, you clear roughly $1k a year if you have no added costs or maintenance? Is that why you bought 7 more - to make it generate 7K a year?
