I could give a whit about brooms, but I love how just looking at it, the design made so much sense! Slick wood at the top for aerodynamics and speed, rough underneath for grip even while sweating during a match.....perfection! Love your enthusiasm, Peter, smiles are much needed nowadays!

Not at all my friend. They pretty much bailed on Quittich doing in Depth Quidditch Scenes at Hogwarts after Chamber of Secrets. Harry actually receives the Firebolt in Prizoner and that has a moment of Quidditch that cuts pretty much to Harry swerving Dementors until he falls....Then He uses the Accio Charm in the Goblet of Fire to have his FireBolt come to him but no one pays attention to a broom whe there's a fire breathing dragon! Then after that I think the only Quidditch scene is the tryouts Harry and Ginny held in HalfBlood Prince and it never shows Harry flying then or in the less than 60 seconds of a match against Slytherin...It was more to focus on Ron becoming a good Keeper. So I don't blame you at all..really especially now that I just mapped this all out for the first time..I'm sorry I used your "Reply Section" to do my math haha. It was a good point you raised though. I think everyone loved that part of the series enough to where they should have made a little more time for it. Like how we get to see 0 percent of the World Cup in Goblet of Fire...anyways im sorry for all this ranting..Have a great time probably watching it again! I'm actually watching the Cooking Series on MAX and I came to this video to confirm that the broom on the set was the Firebolt! I probably shoulda mentioned that sooner...Thanks for your time!

in the warner bros studio tour in London, there is an area where you get to put on a robe of your choosing, sit on a broom in front of a green screen and do exactly that :) just like how it was actually filmed for the movies. later you can purchase the video of you flying through the Hogwarts grounds too, if you want!

So the gold symbols must be the registration number for the broom, which would make sense. They must be a runic style wizarding number system. OR It can be runes to spells that includes in the broom. For thoose who have read the books you know that the Firebolt hoovers even if you are not mounted to it. When i researched i found out that it has special features such as a unbreakble braking charm and a superb balance. But i dont really know this it just 2 opitions from my perspective.

I've had my firebolt for awhile. I love it. My nieces and nephews ask to ride it whenever they're here but I tell them they can't since it's "on charge" 😂 they're so heavy I originally got it for cosplay but I wasn't carrying it around all day, plus the bristles are fragile

I bought this broom a month ago, and the bottom part where the branches are, really reeks of terrible varnish, I think. I put it in the hallway to air out. I couldn't sleep in the room with it the first night, the smell was so strong. On new year's eve I will put it together again, let it hang for the holiday, and then again in the corridor, I think the year will still stink quite strongly. Obviously, of all the three brooms, this is the coolest, most complex, and most beautiful

In fact, this is the only drawback, it is the same as in the video, heavy and beautiful, maybe if I find a good paint, I will paint a thin layer of silver metal parts, make it more bronze and solid

But my friend the designer noticed that if the metal has a slightly bronze hue, then the integrity will appear. And I agreed with him, I am also a designer and this version of the shade also seemed more suitable to me. Although in the film it is exactly the same as in our replicas
