Unboxing the Gourmia French Door XL Digital Air Fryer Oven!!!

Our Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer broke, so we replaced it with the Gourmia from Costco. Here we do an unboxing and pop some popcorn.

I have my eyes on this partially because it seems large enough to place a quarter sheet pan such as a jelly roll pan on top of the grate. I'm used to having multiple pans available for my standard oven, and that capability alone seems far superior to the kettle/basket style airfryer I have now. I'm checking mostly if this has independent controls of the heating elements, but the lack of lighting is a turnoff. The exterior heat is a concern, but maybe it comes with the territory? Informative, so thanks.

Thanks for pointing out where the Kalorik broke (at the hinge). The Kalorik lasted 3 years, then you bought the Gourmia. That makes me think I should just spend the $320 to get the Breville BOV900. Because I'm sure I'll use it for 3 years+ and I like the build quality of the Breville.

It is the same size as our large microwave. It pushed it's way in that is for sure. It is large enough for that 15" pizza and the 20lb turkey that I haven't yet experimented with. I really hope this helps!!!

I thought it was huge before unboxing. We made a large space for it and took it out. Then we looked at our other air fryer (cuisineart) and was like. It's barely bigger. Wider but I think a little shorter.

i bought one today and no, its nice size, with great depth. i had one of the black and decker extra wide toaster ovens and used it for probably 2 - 3 years, that was a great machine and before that i had a small hamiliton beach one. I bought a black and decker crisp and cook but it was way too small once i got it home so i exchanged it for this model instead.

So you can't have buttery popcorn?? Lol i gotta have butter otherwise popcorn doesn't have any flavor to me LOL but thank you for demonstrating this it's probably good for a lot of other things just not popcorn just use microwave popcorn LOL
