Thank you for your video, Darnell! We were looking for an air fryer to cook a large turkey and only found the outdoor Charbroil Big Easy, which runs on a tank. We were hoping for an option that could plug into the wall. I saw the Gourmia at Costco, and the box claimed it could handle a 20-pound turkey, so I decided to buy it. The Gourmia came with no whole turkey recipe or instructions, but after finding your video, I took a chance on it and I'm so glad I did! We cooked a 16-pound turkey in about 2.5 hours. We used a dry rub for the brine, and the turkey turned out moist and juicy. We've tried cooking turkeys in every way possible-BBQ, deep-fried, roasted, and smoked-but this was the best and easiest method. The only minor downside is that you need to reset the timer after 99 minutes, so for those of you waning to give it try, just be sure reset the timer to finish cooking your turkey.

Hands down this is the best channel for air fryers and mini ovens. Straight to the point with real world testing. I was torn between this mini oven, the Brio and the Ninja XL, after watching these videos I went with the Gourmia Xl and extremely happy with it.

I bought the Gourmia slice model which is really just a smaller version of the XL with only three rack positions. They seem to make good products.

I'm curious with the turkey would it make sense to put the tray on the bottom slot and then the turkey on a grill on the next slot. Seems like there is enough vertical space, and that would let some air circulate around the bottom.

IMO, These air fryers are definitely NOT the best way to cook a turkey! or Ham, chicken, etc. The best way is to use a Roaster to ensure a moist juicy roast, IMO air fryers are for smaller pieces of meat and other smaller type meats and foods.@@WaveOvenRecipes

I am not really into cooking bags. And, the transfer of materials is a concern I'd rather not bother with. (I know what is said, but I stand by my position.) So, I have no guidance, and given my position, never checked for this oven.

Just bought the Gourmia double door roaster/air fryer. I want to roast a fresh 20 lb Turkey. I usually use a cooking bag. I called Gourmia customer service and they said ‘you should be ok’…SHOULD BE?? Anyone use the cooking bag in Gourmia double door?
