Missed a great feature!!-The audio recording mode is one of its best features…can record audio through your phone or external mic and noise cancels the drone noise…works surprisingly well

I've looked at other reviews and my only gripe is the quality of the camera and video compression it uses looks to leave a lot to be desired. Other than that I imagine a few generations down the road it should be a great product.

Too bad the noise cancelation can't cancel the "million angry mosquitos" sound... permanently. If ever there were a drone in need of a major propeller upgrade/re-tune, this would be that drone. Maybe by next Christmas, version 2.0/3.0 will have solved this & a few other issues(?)

Most reviews I’ve seen were pretty positive, I own one and for what it does and the tech it comes with plus the easy access of using it I think it’s definitely a fair price. Unless you’re a pro videographer than do you really need a $1000 or more DJI 4k drone? (I got it on Black Friday so about $350)

The drone is not dependent on the app to fly and shoot so you could launch one in follow mode and then launch one in dolly mode to get your dual view simultaneously 😊

Based on reading the website, it seems like it doesn't shoot RAW/DNG photos or LOG footage. Also doesn't seem to shoot more than 30fps. The small size is cool but this is a drone for people who want to crank out minimal-effort reels/tiktoks rather than any serious photography/videography. Give it a couple years and maybe it'll get there though.

If you look at the specs, it can shoot 1080p @ 60 fps with HDR off. But if you want to shoot 2.7k or 1080p + HDR on, then it can only do 30 fps. It's not the best, but it's something, I guess.

This isn't the drone to compete with DJI or Autel, it is an essentially a selfie drone designed for the everyday consumer to whip out on a vacation/event to get photos or videos that are certainly good enough. I have the Air 3, Mavic 2 pro and mini pro 3 and of course they are in literally in a different league but I absolutely found myself going to this little drone in populated areas on vacation to a group photo without worry of handling a controller hence taking oneself out of the picture or injuring someone with props where the Hover is fully encased. Oh and the sound filtering they use to practically remove drone noise is excellent and would be a nice feature for KZbinrs.

It seems very cool, but does it avoid itself hitting things? Like if it is following you, and an object sorta blocked its following path. Will it just fly just like it planned and hit, or will it detects obstacles around it, and avoid hitting things? Like if I am walking in a forest trail and set it to follow me. Will it dodge tree or rocks or leaves or etc?

Based on this vid and the website. It’s absolutely going to smash into things. You need a clear path. It doesn’t have obstacle avoidance. My dji MINI 2 did have some obstacle avoidance but It also didn’t have active track. So that’s a plus. The mini 3 does both. This I can absolutely assure you does not do avoidance.

So I have a few questions. Firstly how well does it follow/track someone when they are in a group of people? Another question I have is how well does it track the owner when there are multiple people close to the owner. If someone else holds out their hand will it land on their hand (not the owner)? What about commands in a group of people? If someone else gives it a recognized command will it follow it? Approximately 10min flight time and max range (governed) of 100feet and 50ft vertical. It can be controlled by a cellphone if desired and there was a bluetooth controller out for it that was sold out if one needed to fly manually but that isn't really needed.

I just purchased this drone, and I like it ! But there are pros and cons. On the positive side, it does most of what it says it does; on the negative side, there is only a 10 or 12-minute battery life, even though it comes with two batteries, and it takes up to 4 hours to charge 1 battery. I see the advertising showing people getting followed on their bikes, I guess the bike ride is less than 10 minutes long. There is very limited instruction on how to really use it, I had to research KZbin to find how to work things; with that being said, I give it a 7.5 out of 10 rating
