If you want a good college set up I recommend a Mac Mini set up and iPad or PC and Samsung tablet. Both options cheaper and more efficient

Awesome review and an excellent piece of kit from hp. I would've loved to see a more gaming focused all in one, specs wise, but the design regardless is just so immaculate. I do wish they swapped one usb A with another hdmi, since there's 5 usb A's already. Unbox therapy should do more all in one desktop reviews [and don't wait for the manufacturer to send it to you]

They used to have AIO workstations under the Z line that might have fit the performance side of things if they had continued till today. Unfortunately (personally, I loved those over engineered Z1 G2 beasts), they were also massive and hardly sleek. More proactive reviews from the team would be awesome. Unfortunately it seems they have very deliberately scaled back.

The base is metal, but I guess the all the degrees of movement come at a cost, especially with the 27". 24" review I read said that one is solid.

If anyone is reading this comment, please reply if you are knowledgeable about this topic. There are two types of monitor displays: IPS and VA. Many KZbinrs use VA monitors, which are curved. However, VA monitors are generally considered best for gaming and movies due to their high contrast ratio. For video editing, IPS displays are preferred because of their high color accuracy. Using a VA monitor for editing could pose issues in color grading when viewing the video on other devices. Could someone explain why many KZbinrs, prefer VA monitors and how they avoid encountering these problems? I personally like VA monitors for their curved and ultrawide features. However, I'm uncertain whether I should opt for two monitors or if a single VA monitor would suffice for all purposes. Please share your experience if you have insights on this issue. The main point is I love VA due to more curved features.

You can actually configure it without speakers, but I don't know if that version comes with a reduced chin. I guess that's a great feature for corporates and schools.
