I have the 9700 since it was launched but if you only use it for repeaters it's a complete waste of time, as you are not using it to it's full potential

agree I intend to use all modes, lets see how it goes, I really wanted to put up a beam but no room, it sucks, so far I love the radio , not much action on cw or ssb, that I could hear,
