I love her!! I remember when she came out, I wasn’t able to get her then. They were 50$ new, and I still had to get superstar repro. And unfortunately I couldn’t get either because they were the harder ones to find. The more common ones were the 1959 doll, Malibu, and the swirl. They were the easiest to find at my local toys r us! She may be the closest more recent repro we ever got. Fortunately I did eventually get them both. But much later past my playing Barbie era. Which is a shame. Love your review!!!

Ohhhh - you have such a nice collection Kada! I knew I wanted her and when I saw the repro at a fairly good price on eBay a few months ago, I snapped her up. I’m really tempted to wash and style the wigs so that they look better. But they are pretty cute for a 15 year old doll. 🤗

I love that! I remember a big of wig wearing back in the days. This doll is so fun - can you imagine having her as a kid? She was a little before my time - Malibu Barbie was the Barbie of my childhood - like Barbie, we all just wanted long straight golden hair. 🤗

Love her! From the Egyptian theme swimsuit and headdress to that bombastic side-eye. Not to mention the wigs - although yes, they could probably do with a wig spa, they look so big on her head it's like she's trying to smuggle a Pomeranian into whatever glamorous resort she's staying at. Definitely a grand addition to your collction.
