😆 Yeah I was fortunate enough to snag one of these on their last drop. I never was interested in the Militaw until this version came out. And then I fell in love. The purple haze fat carbon and polished DLC sold it for me. Not only are the aesthetics gorgeous but the action and detent are money. I'm not big into front flippers either, but this one really does it for me. It's so good. The whole knife is. Hope you can get one!

@@KnifeFanatic I’ve been intrigued with front flippers for years since they seemed to provide the cleanest open blade profiles while still having the fun factor. I got one in hand at long last and the learning curve was steeper than I thought. I generally figured out, though I found it wasn’t the end all be all I thought it might be.

I guess what I've just received is the second run/restock because, weirdly, it came in their non-premium box, although with a pouch, and only two stickers, damn them, lol. Also the name of the knife is under the maker's logo.

@humanzyx ya, I noticed some slight differences in labeling as well on my m390 80s camo Militaw. I also have an ultem Militaw in 154cm and 2 minis, one with the clear acrylic scales in nitro V and the premium mini with gold Ti and the zirc inlays in s45vn. I noticed the jimping on my two premium militaws in purple haze and 80s is so much better than any of the others. The action is also better and detent is dialed in perfectly. Glad you were able to score one of these. They rock.

You mentioned the DLC coating on the handle? I thought the blade was dlc but the handle was pvd?

The blade is a polished DLC. The handle is just a standard DLC coating to my knowledge from looking at a couple of retailers' websites. I could be wrong about the handle though.

If the handle is really dlc that would make it so hard for the handle to get scratched from other shit in your pocket!
