I got this for $34 off Amazon. There were double coupon codes at the time so I was just watch Amazon for a price drop. You really can’t beat this knife at that price point or even at $50. I had to replace mine for free because the first one had a horrible detent action. But the second one is smooth as can be. 14C28N, really nice G10, nice size, and really nice touches like the blue thumb studs and pivot hardware. I highly recommend this knife.

Nothing can be compared to this beast. I own more than 50 knifes and if tomorrow will be Apocalypse I would bring this boy after my fixed blade. I just love this knife 👍🏻💪

I'm pretty sure the Padre and X-Padre are the same size, just different locking mechanisms. The Compadre is a scaled down version of the Padre, the Compadre is a very nice size!

I literally ordered this style of knife this morning lol, was disappointed after watching your first video on this not seeing th brass rivets on the kydex sheathe! And the OD green looks so good.

Good knife for those of us that can't find or afford a Chris Reeves Nayala Insingo. Btw, that rainbow pattern in the grind lines is called something called Heat Tint. Which is an effect caused by the heat treatment reacting with the Chromium at the surface of the steel. So you usually only see it on stainless knives that have been ground to shape before they were heat treated. Fun right?

Blade shape is to some extent similar but the handle shape/ergonomics is totally different. Not a fare comparison in my opinion. Compadre wins all day in Vanax steel with a great heat treat. Just my thoughts. See ya

@scrick7112 I was just trying to compare the satin DLC's. It's hard to tell in the video, but you can see the grind lines a little bit more on the Compadre, which is just a characteristic of it. The Militaw has more of a polished look to it with very few grind lines visible. Both knives are amazing though, I love them. Thanks!

@@KnifeFanatic I’m on the verge of ordering the compadre in that same pattern but the potential of a crossbar is holding me back. I handled the padre and it was huge. It did not have the crossbar either. The compact chad gives me hope that the compadre might get one in the future.

Idk it's hard, they both look so good man. It's hard to tell on camera but the Militaw has more of a polished look and doesn't show the grind lines as much, and in the Compadre you can kind of see the grind lines a bit more. Both look absolutely sick tho. 🤙🏽

Lol jk, I would watch a lot of videos and just start trying to fly man, that's how I learned. I didn't have anyone to teach me. It's pretty simple to get the hang of the basics and get the kite up in the air.

@kyletargett5158 I think it's currently like $125, but I got it when it was on sale for like $90 a while back, which is a great deal for it. I like the titanium frame with the micro-milling, the action, and the detent are good, and it has 14C28N which I love. I think it's a great knife if you can find it on sale. If you like the knife, then I don't think the current price isn't too bad.

@jamesytvids I think you will be extremely happy with the Compadre. I love my Padre and nothing is wrong with it, but it is on the larger side, but not too large. I think the Compadre is the perfect size, comparable to the PM3.

@Shifftymking the Padre already felt extremely ergonomic and comfortable in hand, but the Compadre.... is just so cozy and melts in your hands. I feel locked in. It's the perfect size if the Padre is too big for you.
