Haven’t installed it yet, but I’m going to use an upgraded OEM lid from LSX Concepts… I can’t justify the cost of the billet lid right now, but I might upgrade later.

2800 is alot of bread to justify...seen it has meth injection ports on it if your planning to add down the road and....looks awesome and sure it preforms just as well...great video BTW

4863 were the LSA heads. And 1771 were the LS9 heads. Both are a good choice to put on a stock block. The Kong version of the 2650 is definitely worth the money. Its a good max effort blower. But it can't touch the 1st version of the Magnuson 2650. That thing is a monster!!! 1000HP is easy to gain with the Kong 2650. You can gain that on lower boost without spinning the blower hard. Because the rotors are bigger. ID 1300 injectors, dual fuel pumps, dual keyway crank, 9.17 lower pulley, dsx idler bracket and pulley are some other items that will help you get there. But with 1000 WHP I hope you are upgrading to a 9 inch rear-end with 35 spline or more axles. And beefed up suspension parts. And also a 4l80 that can handle that kind of pwr. Hell solid motor mounts would be better also. Have fun but be careful once you get in the seat with that kind of power!!!

Wow! Thank you so much for the technical tips and advice. I’ll be sure to consider all of that. We are going with a 4L80 with a 9 inch rear end, and also upgrading the suspension to a stage 3 QA1 handling kit. I’m taking notes and will take a look at all the stuff you listed as well. Thanks 🙏🏽

Bro I just realized I misspoke in my video.. I said that we using "4823" heads.. WRONG! I don't know what I was thinking about, but anyways, we are using the 4863 heads ported and polished. Im in the same boat. I have a 85 ss doin a lsx427 with kong…..be sure to brace the 4 link corners if the frame isn’t already boxed and braced up. 600+ can rip the 4 link ears right off the frame
