Just received my kit yesterday from DDM at a discounted Black Friday sale, started putting it together, got an OBR engine on the works, me and my son are putting it together. So far it’s quite the project, waiting on some servos and other goodies to finish it up. Excited to se what it’s capable of. Thanks Steve, I blame you lol.

Thanks steve, i did not realize that. I was seeing pics of the dragon hammer it seems long before the KV5 came out. It looks like a great truck and I may own one in the future after they work the bugs out. I can't believe they did not test the truck enough to determine that the rear axle bearing size was not large enough to take the stress and heat, which they obviously corrected on LSE. Thanks again!!

Of course! Again, most people have never had a bearing failure in their axle, myself included. A very detailed look at one owners rebuild can be seen here on the KV5 forums as well as Facebook. They released a pre-assembled "roller" model last year in May. This is a brand new unassembled kit. The photos and video do no justice just how huge the axle housing is.

Thank you Kevin! The VEKTA is a beast. I have had the pre-assembled model since May of last year and I am really looking forward to building one up. I have had my other one torn down completely but starting with a all new pieces is the best.
