Unboxing the LEGO Classic Space Missions set 11022

Today I unbox a set I've been saving for the right upload for. The LEGO Space Missions Classic set 1022. There are a ton of bricks I wanted from this box set so today I will go bag by bag and separate the pieces I want from the extra that need to be organized. Also at the end ill build the Sun, Moon , and Earth!

So ive been trying to find someone to go over this set and compare it to other classic sets, specifically the other high dollar one, set 11020. Set 11020 is 1601 pieces and sells for 99.99. This set has 1700 pieces and sells for 69.99. So im wondering why you can get this one with 99 more pieces but its 30 dollars cheaper. Any advantages to one over the other? There has to be something with a 30 dollar difference.

Dang that’s a good question! Honestly if I had to guess, after looking online just at the ad picture, the only thing I can suspect it has to do with is either the cost and economics of certain colors within the set or the fact that it has 4 or 5 base plates included in it. Outside of that, your guess is as good as mine lol

@@StuddedGarage Ah thats a good point, i didnt even think about the base plates. Gosh, if the base plates add that much cost to those, id much rather just have no base plates in these and add in more pieces. So i guess if youre just going for pieces only, the cheaper set with more pieces is a bargain. If baseplates are a necessity, the $99 is where youd want to go.
