Mine works perfectly. Basically you leave it on. And it does not really need to be facing you. Just like an AC. Leave it on and let it cool your room.

Yes, this will make it more humid which is bad if you’re in human climate

It is not actually advisable to put ice on the water it will only make the water density high ang the ultrasonic mister will not dispers the mist out porperly, put miniral water on it only for cleaner water evaporating in your room, it will actually cool a closed room using another standard fan blowing underneath of it. Doing a research before using it actually helps,

It certainly won't cool the entire room, else there won't be the need for expensive AIR CONDITIONS. It's just kinda for limited environments, like a desktop where it blows directly on u. Or maybe your bed when u want to sleep well. If you want to cool an entire room, get an AC.

One big flaw in this review is that you used a inferior charger brick that was severely underpowered. It needs 2.4Amps at 15W and the brick u had was likely 5w at 1.5A. with a 15w 2.5A charger this things blows the magic smoke!

Put this thing above in cupboard some where high place and use another powerful stand or table fan below it, room will be cool within half hour. Air circulates faster, room become cooler.

Theres no ice needed for cooling, normal water is enough, actually room temperature water cools better cause it vaporizes faster. Same effect when throw hot water in the air at minus 50 degree celsius for example in Siberia..it immediately turns into snow. If you do the same with cold water it falls down as water. I bought it for 5 bugs here in Thailand.

Yes, that is true. It’s not the greatest fan in the world and it does slow down when you put the mist on there’s other ones by Arctic air which I think are better.
