quick question. When purchasing a vespa do you require full payment or is like a car where you put down half and the rest monthly payments ? I never purchased a scooter of any sort before so I have no idea.

I'm renewing my belt and rollers on my Vespa GTS 300, see the trouble trying to get a set of stock rollers. On ebay they want £9 for them and £12 shipping from Italy. Ended up getting a set from a motorcycle company that no longer deals in Piaggio, stock clearance for £12.

The Orlando Vespa dealership charges $999 for freight charges ! Crazy !!!! I wish I were closer to Vespa Motorsports in San Diego ;-( I'm really debating whether to get this one 75th anniversary or get a custom 300 Super Sport in Matte Black and a bit customized --- I just got my loan, but I don't know yet. Any opinions before I jump?

Its beautiful I would have one tomorrow if the bodywork was galvanized and a better paint system because in britain with the harsh winter weather and roads lashed with salt grit winter riding will rot your pride and joy in front of your eyes .

Only use it in the summer months and you'll be fine. :) You can also get the floor area waxoyled for rust protection.

Digital display on a Vespa, not everyone's cup of tea, certainly not mine. It should stay with Supertech only. The tote bag, no, just no. Also the 75 anny decals, they went a little too far. Way over the top. Try finding spare decals after you had a fix up paint job on the cowls ;).

I hear you buddy, I hear ya...that TFT display should have never been used on a model which marks the anniversary of the classic. That's what the Japanese scooters are for. They went with the retro seat but slapped that digi odometer right there. It could have been linked to the fact the new Vespa designers are just that - new, and have little connection to the historical Vespas. I agree on decals too, had this been mine I would have peeled them straight off, first thing. Cheers.
