Nice look into that kit. My favorite hobby shop had a clearance table most kit had been started or parted never knew but you could pick kits cheap. Got one of those some had started no paint so now I can look threw it and compare and inv. thank you

Bill, I'm going to for sure do as much detail as I can on that engine. As for chopping the top, maybe the next one (and there will be) this one is going to be mostly a box build just to get the feel of the kit and so when I do a huge mod I'll know what to expect. Thanks for watching.

why do they call it a 5 window coupe when there are 6 windows?

Thank you very much for the question. I never thought about it before. I read your question and was like. . . Hmmmm I have no idea. LOL So I did some looking around and found out that for some reason the front window isn't counted. So you get the two door windows, the two small windows behind the doors, then the back window. And the Three window just has the two door windows and the back window. I also found out (because I never thought about it till tonight) was that the duce coupe got it's name because it was made in 32. LOL Just never thought about it before.

I have a Dart on standby for my next pay. I'm going to build it with good paint but the rockers and fender wells rusted badly. Around here the Dusters rusted out faster than anything else on the road.

@@grandpamarkshobbies We called them “crusters” because of the rust. My Dad loved them….Mom did not. She wrecked one and blew the engine in another. He swore she did both on purpose 🤣

Around here the Chevelle was king, but I'm like your Dad. I loved the Dart. I think it's because there wasn't as many around, and honestly I think a stock Dart was faster than a stock Chevelle. And the twin scoops Oh Yea they were awesome. I've never heard of anyone blowing an engine on one of those before. But the poor things rusted so darn fast that you could almost hear them turn back into dirt. LOL I should do two one new and shiny and one a year later with the rockers and quarters all rusted and falling off. LOL

@@grandpamarkshobbies Radiator hose blew and she kept on trucking. The 318 locked up about a mile from home. That was in the early 80's. The next car I remember he bought was a Plymouth Fury Sport. It was an old detective car from the local police department. She really hated that thing lol
